Richmond Advice and Information on Disability

Richmond AID provides information on welfare rights and benefits, employment, housing, education, access, transport, mobility, equipment, holidays and leisure matters to disabled people (and all those deal with or help the disabled).

Tax Advice

Tax Aid

Tax Aid provides help for persons with tax problems who cannot afford to pay for advice.

Telephone helpline: 0345 120 3779 (open 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday). You can also send a message, but you should expect to wait 14 days for a response (message form)

The Royal Courts of Justice Citizens Advice Bureau & Legal Centre “offers advisory appointments to individuals across England and Wales online and over the phone, or in person appointments in central London”.

  • Appealing a decision made in the family court
  • Assessing the likelihood of success with your application

Resolution

Resolution, which was formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association (SFLA), is an organisation of 6,500 family lawyers and other professionals in England and Wales, who believe in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters. Resolution also campaigns for improvements to the family justice system.

Housing and landlord and tenant

Shelter

The Shelter website provides information and guides on landlord and tenants matters as well as providing a helpline. The information includes topics such as homelessness, private renting, tenancy deposits, repossession, eviction, repairs, housing benefit and council housing.
