Entrance to Duke Street Church
The entrance for RLAS sessions is located to the side of the church in Quadrant Road (not The Quadrant); not through the front doors of the Church.Finding RLAS' address
Duke Street is in central Richmond. It is the road which runs between the junction of The Quadrant, George Street, Sheen Road and Eton Street at one end and The Green, Little Green and Portland Terrace on the other. A map is at the bottom of this page.How to gain entry
To gain entry at Duke Street Church:- The entrance for a RLAS session is in Quadrant Road (that is to the right hand side of the church, if facing towards the church in Duke Street)
- how to recognise the entrance: there are double glass doors, with a white surround (metal/plastic type), and above the doors there is a small roof
- the entry door to Duke Street Church in Quadrant Road is always locked
- do not ring either of the door bells, they will not allow you to gain entrance. Inside the entrance there will be a receptionist who will let you in
- on entry, inform the receptionist you have come for the RLAS session, you should be directed to the first floor landing (there are stairs and a lift available). Note the receptionist is a volunteer of the church and is not connected to RLAS
- please wait on the first floor landing (and complete a client contact sheet and read the RLAS information leaflet)
Transport
Railway and tube: The nearest tube and railway station is Richmond (Tube: District Line; Railway: Silverlink and South West Trains). Duke Street is 2 to 3 minutes minutes walk from Richmond railway station. Turn left out of the main entrance station into the Quadrant, cross over to the other side and continue on. One entrance to The Quadrant Road is between Halifax and Lloyds TSB banks.The other entrance is in Duke Street: Continue on walking along the Quadrant. The entrance to Duke Street is on the right at the traffic lights, between the Jigsaw and Calvin Klein shops. As you enter Duke Street, the Duke Street Church is on the right hand side with the entrance to Quadrant Road just before the church.
Buses: H22, H37, R68, R70, 65 and 490 pass on The Quadrant. These buses and buses 33, 337 and 493 pass on George Street. Buses 33, 337 and 493 pass on Sheen RoadMap
