Entrance to Duke Street Church
The entrance for RLAS sessions is located at the front of the church in Duke Street, through the large wooden doors. (Note from September 2011 the entrance in the Quadrant Road is no longer in use).Finding RLAS' address
Duke Street is in central Richmond. It is the road which runs between the junction of The Quadrant, George Street, Sheen Road and Eton Street at one end and The Green, Little Green and Portland Terrace on the other. A map is at the bottom of this page.How to gain entry
To gain entry at Duke Street Church:- The entrance for a RLAS session is through the front doors of Duke Street Church in Duke Street (see the Google Street View picture below)
- how to recognise the entrance: there are 3 double sets of wooden doors, up two steps
- on entering the entrance lobby, inform the receptionist you have come for the RLAS session, you should be directed to the cafe. This is down the stairs to the right from the entrance lobby.
- you will be provide with a client contact sheet and a Richmond Legal Advice Service sheet by a Duke Street volunteer. It will be numbered. Please complete the form and hold on to it.
- Please wait in the cafe area until your number is called by a RLAS volunteer.
Transport
Railway and tube: The nearest tube and railway station is Richmond (Tube: District Line; Railway: Silverlink and South West Trains). Duke Street is 2 to 3 minutes minutes walk from Richmond railway station. Turn left out of the main entrance station into the Quadrant, cross over to the other side and continue on. The entrance to Duke Street is on the right at the traffic lights, between the Jigsaw and Calvin Klein shops. As you enter Duke Street, the Duke Street Church is on the right hand side.
